We shared summer rolls and sweet potato fries to start and both went with pho for our main course. I had the special pho and it was so tasty. Full of meat and tons of noodles. The broth was packed full of flavour. I added a little kim chi and fish sauce, and honestly, I couldn’t finish it. It was so filling. The service was unobtrusive and quick. Really top notch. We weren’t there long as we had theatre tickets, but we’ll definitely be back.
Outstanding food and flavours. An absolute gem of a restaurant and can't wait to go back. You know your in for a treat when the condiment setup consists Flying Goose Hoisin & Sriracha, Soy & Fish Sauce, Pickled Garlic and the king of condiments Crispy Chilli Oil.
This place is amazing! We had 2 of the different iced fruit teas, which were made fresh and both stunning. For main courses we tried the different rice dishes with beef, they were delicious, very authentic Vietnamese food. Looking forward to trying some other dishes
My daughter and I visited today and it’s by far the best Asian food we have ever tasted (we have tried a lot) absolutely delicious, amazing portions and very friendly helpful staff. The shaking beef was exquisite! Brought left overs home for my husband who said it was the best food he has had in a very long time. Highly recommend. Also the tropical fruit tea was divine. Thank you wish we lived closer we would come every day!
My go to place whenever I crave for Asian cuisine and comfort food. Fresh, flavourful and reasonable price. Might have to wait a while during peak times as the restaurant usually gets fully booked (but I’m grateful as they’re starting to be known in the area more power to you guys!). Staff are lovely and friendly too. I ordered Shaking beef, papaya salad, special pho and also tried their summer spring rolls and sticky mango rice which were all delectable.
If you’re a lover for anything other than pub grub, this place is a must. The food is amazing and full of flavour, staff are friendly and very considerate, atmosphere is never overwhelming or underwhelming, it’s just perfect. I thought I had more photos but apparently the food is that good It’s an afterthought to take a picture. Thank you pho 179 for being my favourite spot to eat.
Really impressed with this place, have been twice now and most recently for restaurant week. The summer rolls were very light and fresh. My favourite dish was the beef stew noodle soup as beef was super tender and literally so soft and the broth was perfect. Highly recommend any of the pho dishes
Delicious Vietnamese restaurant. There are a lot of varied options and its not too expensive. The portions were great! The service was a bit slow as there was only one girl working but it wasn't very busy at all.
